Shamya Barrett
2022-23 Teen Miss McGregor
Shamya is a Junior at McGregor High School where she participates in track, powerlifting, and the Golden Flames dance team. She is an active member of student council and the National Honor Society. In her free time, Shamya enjoys volunteering, running, and gardening her favorite succulent plants. Shamya inspires to educate our community on African American Culture.
Anya Sloan
2022-23 Junior Miss McGregor
Anya is 11 years old and was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma but got here as soon as she could. She attends McGregor Jr. High and just started learning to play the trombone in the band. Anya enjoys reading, playing Sims, playing basketball, and hanging with her friends (human and four-legged). When she grows up, Anya wants to go to college and become a veterinarian.
Hudson Sloan
2022-23 Little Miss McGregor
Hudson is in Kindergarten at Hewitt Elementary. Some of her favorite things include going to the park, hanging out with her friends and family, and getting snow cones from the Sno-Ball Shack. Hudson attends dance at Let’s Dance McGregor and is a McGregor Youth Athletics cheerleader! She loves representing McGregor and spreading kindness throughout the community.
